The project involved consolidating 374 metric tons and 1,850 cubic meters of breakbulk cargo from 13 suppliers across various locations in China and loading it onto a ship bound for Santos, Brazil. The operation, conducted between December 17, 2024, and January 2, 2025, highlights TEL’s expertise in managing intricate shipments with precision and efficiency.

Project Highlights

• Largest Cargo Piece: 89 metric tons, measuring 12.76m (L) × 4.15m (W) × 4.23m (H).
• Seaworthy Containers: Purchase of six used seaworthy containers.
• Third-Party Survey Arrangements:
  • Surveys conducted at supplier premises during truck loading.
  • Inspections during container loading at the CFS.
  • Monitoring during shipboard loading to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The operation involved a comprehensive range of tasks:

1. Pickup Coordination: Efficient collection of cargo from 13 various suppliers at 13 locations.
2. Cargo Consolidation: Integration of breakbulk items into six containers at a CFS (Container Freight Station).
3. Heavy Lift Management: Pickup of heavy-lift cargo from suppliers directly to the port for loading alongside the ship.
4. Documentation and Customs Clearance: TEL meticulously handled export documentation and customs formalities.
